MS Storage Solution for Core or Arcade 360 Owners

Microsoft has come up with a storage solution for owners of the Core or Arcade xBox 360 Systems, whilst this solution isn’t free it does offer storage at a cut down price and in one case with three months of xBox Live Gold chucked in.

In order to apply for your storage solution you need to visit http://www.xboxstorageupgrade.com here you can enter your serial number and Microsoft can assess the free space on your console and make sure you don’t have at least 128MB free. Apparently according to some they can tell if your Core or Arcade System has had a HD or Memory Card added.

The solution for each console type is shown below:

Xbox 360 Arcade owners will get 1 refurbished 20GB HardDrive and 3 Months of Xbox Live Gold for $30.

Xbox 360 Core owners will get a 512MB Memory Card for free OR a a refurbished 20GB HardDrive for $20.

I’m not entirely sure why there are two different options for what are essentially the same package, I have read other comments saying that some owners are only being offered the $20 option for some reason. Anyway if you want to enjoy the New xBox Experience you’ll need that extra storage.
