Microsoft Announces Project Natal

Project Natal is a new human interaction system for the Xbox 360, it was demonstrated at E3 by Lionhead Studio’s Peter Molyneux. I’m sort of sceptical about it at the moment. My first thought was oh no another eye toy. However I’ve heard that the “milo” demonstration isn’t as scripted as people have said it is. The trailer on the Project Natal page on Xbox.com shows a family playing driving and skateboarding games with just gestures as well as controlling the dashboard. This video is obviously just a demonstration and none of the stuff in it is actually real, unlike the Milo video. It’ll certainly be something to look out for, but at the moment I’m not getting too excited.
