Lego Rock Band, What’s it all about huh?
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Rock Band, and I love the Lego, ut they don’t belong in the same game!! I haven’t tried Lego Rock Band for myself, but personally i just don’t plain get it. I can see the attraction of Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman and the rest, but from what i’ve played of them I found hey got tedious pretty damn quick.
From what I’ve read, the main difference is you collect Lego Studs (no that kind!) and these can be used to purchase various things, new costumes, clothes, Lego life insuance etc. According to Harmonix the reasoning behind Lego Rock Band is that it’s a more family friendly affair.
The game will be releasesed with some “Lego” songs apparently, I find that statement confusing in itself, but hey we’ll have to wait and see I suppose. I presume it’ll be songs and artists with bad Lego related puns.
Oh before I forget, the game doesn’t come with Lego intruments, boooooo!

Well i can see why they would do it, i used to always think the whole lego branding of games was stupid, but it’s ok. Really they are marketing towards two different groups, the lego fans and the Rock Band Fans, we’ll see how well it sells. The fact that it is a family friendly game makes it even better(for me at least), it’s not like the original rockbands were unfriedly . Anyways I know i’ll get it just for “the final countdown by europe”
