NDS/GBA Supercard

Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance Supercard

The Supercard allows you to connect flash memory cards to your Game Boy Advance (SP) or Nintendo DS. It has the same shape as a Game Boy Advance Cartridge and therefore fits into the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot on the Nintendo DS. You can then run any number of homebrew games and applications from your SD or CF card.

Can you play backup games from a Supercard?

Yes and No, if you have a Nintendo DS or a Game Boy Advance you can play Game Biy Advance backup ROMS from your Supercard. You will need to open them with the Supercard software on your PC which will then patch the ROM to make it playable on your Nintendo DS or Gameboy Advance.

So you can’t play Nintendo DS Backups from a Supercard?

You can play Nintendo DS backup ROMs from a Supercard, however to do this you need another piece of hardware called a Superpass or Superpass 2. This is inserted into your Nintendo DS cartridge slot (Slot 1) Whilst your Supercard is in the Game Boy Advance slot (Slot 2). The Superpass will then trick the Nintendo DS into thinking the DS ROM is being loaded from the DS Cartridge slot (Slot 1) even though it is actually on the Supercard in the Game Boy Advance slot.
